Sadeq M. Khan, Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel, Vertical Screen Inc., named one of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Top 10 30-Somethings!
On June 28th, the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), a global legal association representing more than 45,000 in-house counsel employed by over 10,000 organizations in 85 countries, recognized Sadeq M. Khan, Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel, Vertical Screen Inc., as one of the 10 best business lawyers in its international membership. The Top 10 30-Something award was presented at ACC’s Corporate Counsel University (CCU) in Minneapolis. The ACC CCU program is specifically designed for corporate lawyers who are new to in-house practice. Experienced in-house lawyers from companies around the globe, including Braun Intertec, Redbox, Target, T-Mobile, and Whirlpool, lead discussions on corporate litigation, client IP protection, managing outside counsel, developing in-house skills, and more.
It’s a testament to his work ethic and responsibility that Sadeq was recognized with this tremendous honor. Please join us in congratulating him!
Sponsored by Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP, the award program distinguishes the outstanding achievements of in-house counsel between the ages of 30 and 39. Nominations are based on the individual’s contributions to the corporate law department, company, or organization, as well as the depth and context of their participation in efforts to advance advocacy, pro bono, and diversity in the legal profession.
In order to be named a Top 10 30-Something, the nominee is judged by a panel of in-house lawyers who score the individual’s contributions to his legal department, as well as the depth and context of their participation in efforts to advance advocacy, pro bono, and diversity in the legal profession.
“Once again, the new cohort of young in-house lawyers has exceeded expectations,” said Veta T. Richardson, president and CEO of ACC. “On behalf of the worldwide in-house community, we applaud their dedication to guiding corporate strategy and leadership.”
