Walking the Tightrope

On Tuesday 12th November, DLA Piper hosted a seminar 'Walking the Tightrope' with Partner & Head of Employment, Helen Colquhoun and Senior Associate, David Smail discussed the implications of the Hong Kong protests for employers across the region. This interactive session covered many aspects including social media and reputational concerns, workplace tension and the impact of staff relationships, disciplinary considerations, economic issues - such as unpaid leave and redundancies and looking to the future. The session was very well attended, with over 45 delegates from over 30 companies.
