Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC NortheastPlease join ACC Northeast and Morgan Lewis for this important in-person program where we will explore implications of the McDonald decision.
Earlier this year, the Delaware Court of Chancery held for the first time that corporate officers may be held liable for failure to exercise a duty of oversight. The Court also suggested that employment law issues may trigger claims for violations of fiduciary duties.
If you are involved with your company's employment law, litigation, corporate governance or corporate law matters, you will want to attend this program for the benefit of your colleagues and potentially yourself. You will learn about best practices to prevent the officers of your company, whether public or private, from landing in hot water. Learn how to protect your company's officers and directors from claims that could cause distraction and reputational harm, while also preserving attorney-client privilege if litigation arises.
Ample time will be allocated for Q & A and networking.
