ACC Research Triangle AreaThis will be a fast moving presentation covering the many brand new labor and employment law changes that employers need to understand and prepare for action. The speakers will discuss the Department of Labor’s new overtime rule and the increased salary thresholds for FLSA exempt employees; current best practices for defending DOL audits and other enforcement actions; the EEOC’s updated guidance on harassment in the workplace; the FTC’s new rule banning most non-compete agreements; the new Pregnant Workers Fairness Act final rules; new traditional labor law concerns for a national election year; strategies to increase success in employment litigation; and the latest helpful employer benchmarking data collected by Ogletree Deakins.
