If you have been in the legal profession long enough, chances are you’ve heard of instances where professional etiquette has taken a nosedive, including high-profile instances of lawyers losing their tempers with unsuspecting office clerks or acting contemptuously toward one another in court. Although these boorish behaviors may be the exception rather the rule, it could be a good idea for all legal professionals to reflect on whether their professional manners are up to par and take these suggestions for engaging in exemplary conduct into consideration.
