Undoubtedly there are lots of whizzy tools out there to buy and the benefits of digitizing the contracting process are clear, but don’t underestimate the enormity of the task. You will need time, money and a shed load of stamina and resilience. Rustum Rau and Manana Shrimpling from BT will share with you the two year journey BT has been on to digitise its customer and supplier contracts, from getting the basics right, to staying the course and managing stakeholders that struggle to understand why such a project doesn’t take more than a few months.
