These dates summarize deadlines, in-person ACC education events, and chapter leader conference calls. Mark your calendar to ensure you are aware of the ACC Annual Meeting Early Bird Registration deadline and the dates for Mini MBA, Advanced Mini MBA, Compliance and Ethics Training, and Corporate Counsel University. Chapter presidents, treasurers and membership chairs should plan to participate in periodic conference calls and all chapter leaders should plan to participate in the Virtual Training sessions. Ongoing - Chapter Presidents are required to acknowledge the requirements and recommendations for ACC chapters have been reviewed with their board and that their chapter is in compliance. Submit your acknowledgement form here.
Ongoing - Submit your Leadership Reporting Form within 10 days of board elections.
Past Due - Treasurers submit FY24 chapter financial reports, and FY25 budgets to the ACC Financial Portal

January 31 – US Chapters must issue a 1099-NEC to all independent contractors who are not incorporated that earned more than $600 in fees paid during the preceding tax year (January 1–December 31).

February 28 – US Chapters must submit form 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC to the IRS (with a transmittal 1096 form), and a copy the ACC Financial Department.
The NEC (Non-Employee Compensation) form should be used for individuals, contractors and administrators, and the MISC form is to be used for rents and payments for attorney fees.
