After attending this workshop, I put a team together and used the tools I learned to pilot two value based efforts. We consolidated all of our employment litigation nationwide into one firm with a flat fee arrangement and a collar for two years (no hourly billing!); and we implemented a similar arrangement for our tort litigation work. These two efforts represent about 25% of our outside counsel spend; and we are planning to build on these in the coming year.
