ACC CENTRAL FLORIDA EVENT CODE OF CONDUCT
At the Association of Corporate Counsel Central Florida Chapter (ACC CFL) sponsored events you must always treat others with respect and civility
This Code of Conduct applies to all ACC CFL sponsored events and includes any related events or social gatherings.
This Code of Conduct applies to anyone involved in an ACC CFL sponsored event, including all ACC CENTRAL FLORIDA employees and contractors, ACC CFL members, attendees, guests, speakers, volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, and venue staff. This policy is subject to change without notice.
Unacceptable Conduct Includes:
- Violence, threats of violence, unwanted touching, or physical intimidation
- Disruptive behavior
- Verbal or written harassment on any basis, including sexual harassment
- Displaying inappropriate visual information
- Possession of weapons or illegal substances
- Behavior that is illegal
- Violation of the rules of the event or venue
- Failure to follow safety instructions of ACC CFL representatives
- Any inappropriate behavior that ACC CFL believes lacks respect or civility
Complaints
Contact local law enforcement or emergency services immediately if you notice a dangerous situation, threats of violence or someone in distress.
To report unacceptable conduct at an ACC CFL event, contact a member of the ACC CFL Board or other representative as soon as possible or file a complaint here.
When filing a complaint, please include any and all information you can provide, including, but not limited to: description of the issue or incidents, name(s) of the person(s) involved, names of any witnesses, event location, and your name and contact information.
All reports will be kept as confidential as possible; provided that the ACC CFL reserves the right in some cases to report serious incidents to local law enforcement.
Consequences of Unacceptable Conduct
Unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply at once.
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:
- Removal from an event without refund or warning
- Banning from future ACC CFL events
- Revoking ACC membership (to be determined in conjunction with the Global ACC)
- Referral to local law enforcement
