Paris, France – 1 October 2024 – ACC Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Maria Rocha Barros as the Chapter's new President, effective today, 1 October 2024. Maria succeeds Eva Argilés, who has served with distinction as ACC Europe President for the past two years.
Upon her appointment, Maria commented, "I’m honoured to be elected President of this organisation I have long admired and respected. Over the past six years, I’ve seen the incredible growth of ACC Europe, from the initial steps of building our community on LinkedIn, to navigating the challenges of the pandemic and developing a new organisational strategy. I am very excited to guide and partner with the outstanding leadership team as our Chapter moves into 2025. My focus will be to mobilise ACC Europe for our next phase of growth and development while staying true to our core purpose—to be the foremost, relevant peer-to-peer forum for in-house counsel across Europe."
