Corporate Counsel Summary:Join our legal team at Knorr-Bremse Rail North America! We’re seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to play a vital role in supporting KB- Signaling, our exciting new signaling business unit acquisition. You’ll collaborate closely with key stakeholders, manage diverse legal matters, and contribute to our strategic vision. This highly visible position reports to our Senior Corporate Counsel for North America Rail.Key Tasks You’ll Do:Advise and partner with KB Signaling leadership and North America rail business teams.Draft, review, and negotiate a range of contracts, agreements, and compliance processes.Drive dispute resolution, oversee various legal efforts that come into the office, and manage budgets.Support compliance, HR, and regulatory matters, and lead training on best practices.Assist with regional legal initiatives, and other strategic alliances.What You Bring:5-10 years of legal experience required, ideally with multi-national exposure.Demonstrated ability in commercial contract law and negotiation erequired. Deputy General Counsel
University of Rochester (“the University”) has engaged Major, Lindsey & Africa on an exclusive basis to conduct a global search for a Deputy General Counsel. Position Overview: The Deputy General Counsel serves as a trusted advisor to the Senior Vice President and General Counsel and oversees a team of highly skilled attorneys, professionals, and support staff to address the entire range of legal issues impacting the University. The position provides, supervises, and directs legal advice and services to University administration, including senior executive leaders and department chairs, as well as faculty and staff on a wide variety of issues and projects, primarily those affecting schools and divisions outside of the Medical Center.Experience: The successful candidate will have at least 12+ years of relevant legal experience, including experience in litigation and one or more additional fields of law relevant to the needs of the University and experience interacting with boards of directors/trustees. Candidates currently serving as the general counsel at an institution of higher education, or those aspiring to be a general counsel, are encouraged to apply. Location: Rochester, NY. This is not a remote role. The Office of Counsel currently offers a hybrid schedule, with three days per week (typically including Wednesdays and Thursdays) in-office expected, subject to a requirement of more time in-office for specific projects or as revised policy may mandate. Senior Attorneys - Commercial & Regulatory

Building on our successful placement of the General Counsel last year, we are now seeking exceptional candidates to bolster the Port Authority's midlevel leadership.ORGANIZATION: The agency is a key pillar of the New York-New Jersey region, which is home to more than 10 million people and generates an outsized percentage of the nation’s GDP. The Port Authority is one of the most consequential transportation agencies in the United States, serving hundreds of millions of customers each year and owning or operating some of the country’s most critical infrastructure. This includes five airports, including JFK, Newark Liberty, and LaGuardia; the nation’s busiest seaport; the PATH rapid-transit rail network; six bridges and tunnels, including the George Washington Bridge, the busiest bridge in the United States; the World Trade Center campus of skyscrapers, including the iconic 1 WTC, the tallest building in the US; and two bus terminals, including the country’s busiest. The Port Authority’s current capital plan envisions $37B in capital spending; and innovative means of structuring transactions, including large multi-billion-dollar public-private partnerships.OVERVIEW: The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey is seeking highly qualified senior commercial and regulatory attorneys to join its Manhattan-based, 100+ person Law Department team. These roles will handle a wide range of mega-commercial transactions and provide expert guidance on federal, state, and local law and regulation and unique and complex legal matters arising from the operation of our multi-modal facilities. The attorneys will work on complex legal matters, bridging the gap between governmental and private company concerns. As part of an organization with engineering in its DNA, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the region with both public policy and facilities and systems built for the 21st century. Reporting to an Assistant General Counsel, this role will serve as a people leader in the department and may involve management of a small team. This role is part of the Law Department’s transition from a reactive to a proactive agency, focusing on optimizing opportunities and supporting innovative infrastructure projects.EXPERIENCE: The ideal candidate will have 6-12+ years of legal experience, including training at a respected law firm or experience in a public agency, with emphasis on commercial law, project finance, and public-private partnerships. Experience with federal regulatory agencies, public institutions, and/or government funding processes is highly desirable. They should demonstrate a proven ability to creatively structure complex legal matters. Membership in good standing in one or both of NY/NJ bar is required but we will assist out-of-staters to waive in.LOCATION: New York, NY (in office 2-3 days per week).COMPENSATION: $200-250k Total Cash Compensation + Pension
