This 2024 FTI Consulting and Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Singapore In-House Counsel report draws from primary research and expert analysis to provide insights on the evolving role of the General Counsel or senior in-house counsel in Asia and identify key challenges, priorities and opportunities. Our focused interviews and survey of 160 senior legal professionals and General Counsel across eight locations (China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, India and Hong Kong) find in-house legal clear-eyed about the current environment, ready to take on more to help the business and aware of the hurdles and emerging risks in their path.
