On January 23, 2025, Jay Repaso was elected the 35th President of the St. Louis Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Jay grew up in Sullivan, Missouri and obtained a B.A. in History from St. Louis University in 1989. Jay moved to East Lansing, Michigan in 1996 and obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1998.
From 2001 to 2005, Jay was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Berrien County, Michigan. In 2007, Jay and his family moved back to the St. Louis metropolitan region. From 2007 to 2017, Jay was a Senior Corporate Counsel at ICL Performance Products LP in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Since 2017, Jay has been a Senior Counsel at Mastercard International Incorporated in O’Fallon, Missouri.

- My hobbies are: Martial Arts and Golf

- My favorite vacation was: Oahu, Hawaii with the family (July 2017)
- My favorite type of book to read is: Nonfiction with the subject matter being organized crime.
- I became involved with the ACC because: I wanted to network/connect with other in-house counsel lawyers in the St. Louis metro. Area.
- I think the real value our members get from involvement with ACC is: Long lasting friendships
- What are your goals as President: (I) Infrastructure Improvements (Transition governance documents to ACC SharePoint site, update our local chapter website resources); (2) New Member Reach Out Campaign; and (3) Continued Innovative Programming

- My advice to lawyers who are new to in-house is: Learn as much about the business as possible so you can be an effective counselor for your company.
