Canada’s Anti-Spam Law (CASL) received Royal Assent in December 2010, and it is just a matter of time before it comes into force. CASL is designed to be one of the most stringent anti-spam regimes in the world and is intended to address the problem of spam, unauthorized interception of electronic messages and installation of software on a user’s computer without consent.
