Halim Dhanidina (Ret.) and Suzanne Burke Spencer will discuss the new California Rule of Professional Conduct, Rule 8.3, the so-called “snitch rule,” which requires, amongst other things, attorneys to inform the state bar when they are in receipt of credible evidence that a fellow attorney has committed a criminal act or engaged in certain conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or reckless, or intentional misrepresentations.
