CLO Forum — Meeting
The CLO Forum provides the New York City ACC Chapter General Counsel and Chief Legal Officers an opportunity to meet informally with their peers for a free-flowing discussion centered around topics of practical interest. This is a "PowerPoint-free zone," and our discussions are confidential, with no marketing, agenda, or sponsorship from outside vendors. The CLO Forum meets two to four times per year.
At these meetings, CLOs address the special management challenges they face practicing as a corporate generalist or more accurately a "serial specialist". The meetings are moderated by the CLO chair which facilitates discussions among the CLO’s and GC’s. Meetings involve addressing real life business solutions to everyday issues as well as addressing hypotheticals. Members of the group frequently exchange follow-up information with each other and group members at large on substantive law as well as management issues facing the business.
CLO forum attendance is open to those individuals who currently hold, or within the last twelve months have held, the title of either General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer. The same applies to retired GC or CLO's.
