Retention of in-house lawyers, including those from underrepresented backgrounds, is dependent on culture, well-being, and career development, according to research conducted earlier this year by Thomson Reuters.

Many continue to view culture through a pre-pandemic lens that is still attached to physical space, however, how do you build a culture - and an inclusive environment - which can traverse on-site or remote environments?  This aspect is critical to job satisfaction and retention, and creating an environment free of bias can result in an authentic sense of psychological safety and belonging that can further drive retention in competitive markets.

Join this luncheon to learn from peers about quick ways you can instill now to create bias-free work settings and promote positive culture at both the team and individual levels.

Considerations for Employers as Hybrid and Remote Work Arrangements Become More Permanent

As we enter into the new phase of "normalcy" in this unprecedented, post-pandemic workplace, most employers would like their employees to return to work, at least to some extent. However, many are finding permanent hybrid arrangements to be a critical competitive advantage in this employee-driven economy. More and more employers are creating permanent policies for hybrid and remote arrangements for their employees.

Join Jackson Lewis P.C. attorneys for a discussion on managing employees whose work arrangements can vary between hybrid, in-person and remote.

Topics:

  • Maintaining company culture in a distributed workforce
  • Running effective harassment and discrimination training for hybrid or remote employees
  • Drafting enforceable restrictive covenants for hybrid or remote employees
  • Reviewing relevant policies
